We are living in the future.

In the past, we sometimes made stupid decisions. Like say leaving that new helmet laying on the floor in favour of a better hair day. But, it looks like things are going to change.

And, it’s all thanks to the Swedish designed Hövding.

Unobtrusive in design, the Hövding is a minimalist collar that contains an inflatable airbag which is deployed when its accelerometers detect abnormal movements.

Science fiction? or just science.

Amazing idea/design. Watching that collision video, you can tell it’ll be a life saver. I’m just wondering how often this little bit of science magic inflates when it’s unnecessary… cause the practicality in that is debatable.
